Demolition at New Kessani

The water tower was considered dilapidated and extremely dangerous.

Controlled demolition was carried out, using explosive devices, which were placed on three of the six pillars.

The 25-meter-high tower collapsed exactly at the pre-planned point without any danger to the adjacent buildings that were very close.

For the demolition of the water tower, the site was blocked for safety reasons and to avoid any possible accident.

The Syscom MR3000 three-axis servo-accelerometer was also used to record the dynamic response of structures during demolition.
